The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was extremely clean, one of the cleanest 4 star hotel rooms I have ever seen. And one of the quietest as well. The staff is nice. Quick and easy check-in, even quicker and easier check-out.

The room was very clean. Including in the shower and in the toilet. During the three days of my stay, I did not invite cleaning even once. I liked the opportunity to open the window in winter to ventilate the room. This is important to me because I can't sleep if the window in the room is closed. There is also a wonderful opportunity to raise and lower the air temperature in the room. When we arrived, it was very hot. I lowered the temperature to a comfortable 21 degrees. There was a very nice girl at the reception on the day of our departure on December 23rd. She smiled and chatted sweetly, helped us with our luggage. A wonderful stuff member of the hotel.

Good place. It's nice to be able to leave things before check-in. A good shower. Large beds.

The staff exceeded our expectations, very accommodating and friendly. Sanju, very professional he answered all of our questions. Kirin was more than helpful his friendly manner and go get attitude is remarkable. Juhan, who worked at the breakfast buffet, was warm and friendly. There is another person I need to recognize as well, but I did not get her name. She also works at the bar and wears glasses very hospitable. The staff that my wife and I interacted with made our vacation at Ljubljana a very memorable one kudos to all of the staff, especially the ones we interacted with.

The hotel was in a convenient location to the old city, restaurants, etc (3-5 mins walk). The staff were very helpful. Beds were very comfortable. The original room we booked was too small - the oversized bed took up most of it and because there wasn't enough room for us to spread out and for us to store our bikes in the room - we paid for an upgrade to a room with a large terrace which was really nice and spacious. Breakfast was very good.

This is an amazing hotel. We had the deluxe room with castle view. The room was huge, modern and had everything you could possibly want. We had a small balcony with chairs and a table. We really appreciated the coffee machine and the steamer. Breakfast was varied, delicious and not at all over crowded. The location is perfect; you are a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff were all very polite and courteous. I would stay there again!

Everything is squeaky-clean and new - even the bright and spotless underground parking garage. A convenient thing about this hotel is that reaching it by car from the main highway is quick and you can drive right into the garage and take the elevator up to reception. You are only minutes away from all the hot-spots along the river but shielded from the noise by the Congress Square with its beautiful plane (sycamore) trees. Our double room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. Design details - like the little cat etched into the glass wall of the WC - are charming. Staff was efficient, friendly, and impressively multilingual.

All new, excellent taste for the rooms and hotel in general. But what I want to mention on special is the two lovely ladies who were at the reception on the 19-20 of March. I had a little bit of a trouble with my missing luggage and they were so warm towards me and wanting to help, that I was left very impressed. In our days were nobody cares of anyone and most of the staff at the hotels are professional but rather stiff and cold, at Occidental I have met real humans. And I love that. For the management who hired the staff: well done and make sure you keep your employees! Other then that, i will gladly return, as everything was excellent!

The location is very central, just a few minutes walk down to the river. We had views over the central square. It's on a bus route from the station, which takes about 15 minutes. The room was well-furnished and the bed was comfortable.
